Jiangsu Changqing Agrichemical’s Operating Revenue of Pesticides Grew by 15% During the First Half of 2014 and Plans to Produce 2,000 Tons of Dicamba in 2014

Recently, Jiangsu Changqing Agrichemical Co., Ltd. released its semi-annual report. According to the report, the company has generated an operating avenue of 928.4081 million yuan, an increase of 15.14% compared to the same period of last year. Its net profit for shareholders of this listed company reached 119.2948 million yuan, an increase of 16.56% compared to the same period of last year.
Within the reporting period, the operating revenue of the company’s pesticides reached 926.0659 million yuan, an increase of 15.35% compared to the same period of last year, and the gross profit margin reached 28.73%, an increase of 2.03 percentage points compared to the same period of last year. The company’s leading products, such as fomesafen and imidacloprid, met a good market demand, supply of its new product dicamba fell short of the market demand, and the new product acetamiprid had been put into quantity production. Under the influence of these factors, Jiangsu Changqing Agrichemical Co., Ltd.’s operating revenue increased by 15.14%, and the net profit belonging to the shareholders of this listed company increased by 16.56% compared to the same period of last year. The company performed well during the first half of 2014.
Within the reporting period, the plan of its subsidiary company in Nantong to realize the annual output of 2,000 tons of dicamba TC was implemented, and the project to transfer the annual output of 1,000 tons of acetamiprid TC to corporation bonds to raise fund had been formally started. The successful operation of these projects has further enhanced Jiangsu Changqing Agrichemical Co., Ltd.’s profitability as well as its overall competitiveness; meanwhile, the company has been promoting the progress of its various construction projects. Currently, the projects to produce 3,000 t/a of s-metolachlor TC and 1,000 t/a of 2-coumaranone intermediate are underway.
Furthermore, according to Changqing Agrichemical Co., Ltd itself, its pesticide product dicamba is mainly for export and it is estimated that the annual output of dicamba will reach 2,000 tons in 2014.
