The 13th meeting of the China-Venezuela Senior Mixed Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) was held in Caracas, capital of Venezuela, between 19th and 21st of July. Sinochem Agro Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Sinochem Agro) was invited to attend the agriculture sub-committee meeting.
The agriculture sub-committee meeting was held on 19th of July. Wei Hanhan, vice president of Sinochem Agro, attended the meeting. Wei first reviewed the cooperation between Sinochem Agro and agricultural enterprises under the Ministry of Agriculture of Venezuela over the past three years at the meeting, and introduced further future cooperation on products, technology, information exchange, etc. between the two sides. Iván Gil, Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture of Venezuela spoke highly of the cooperation between Sinochem Agro and the Ministry of Agriculture of Venezuela as well as its subsidiary agricultural enterprises, and listed the cooperation outcomes and development planning into the meeting minutes of the agriculture sub-committee meeting of the 13th meeting of the China-Venezuela Senior Mixed Committee.
On 21st of July, President Xi Jinping of China and President Ricardo Maduro of Venezuela witnessed the signing of the new Five-year Strategic Cooperation Agreement by vice president of Sinochem Agro Wei Hanhan and Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture of Venezuela Iván Gil.
